Richmond Transport Facilities
The Richmond Transport Facilities Project includes a
10,200 linear foot 14-foot diameter tunnel, 6,000 linear feet of connecting
sewers, and associated concrete connection structures.

The tunnel was driven in the very complex Franciscan melange and saturated dune sands of the Richmond District of San Francisco.
